Class Z - Air Brake Training

Anyone who drives a vehicle fitted with an air brake system or an air-over-hydraulic brake system is required to have a Z endorsement on his or her driver’s license.
Class D
-
A class DZ license will allow you to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of cargo, and must have good communication skills to receive and relay information to a centralized dispatcher.
Class A
-
The class A driver’s license allows you to drive a motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilograms (10,000 Lb.); and vehicles included in classes D and G. A class A-license does not permit you to drive a bus carrying passengers, a motorcycle or a moped.
